About Dr David Reid

David grew up In Northern Ireland and studied medicine at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating with honours. Following completion of basic surgical training in the UK and earning Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, he moved to Australia to complete his general surgery training and obtain Fellowship Of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

David has undertaken further subspecialty training in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery in Wollongong and a Hepatopancreatobiliary fellowship in St James Hospital Leeds where he also worked as a consultant in Pancreatic and General surgery.

Post- Fellowship David has also completed a postgraduate Masters in Clinical Epidemiology through the  University of Sydney. David is actively involved in teaching Medical students, junior doctors and surgical trainees. He is known for his approachability and caring manner.
